Scottish Summit is an annual Microsoft Cloud Community event that takes place in Glasgow at the end of February each year and in 2022 we return to the Strathclyde University Technology and Innovation Centre on the 25th and 26th.

In Accordance with recently announced Scottish Government guidance for Sporting events, concerts, nightclubs and indoor events with over 1,000 attendees requiring Vaccine Passports (https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-mandatory-vaccine-certification/)

Scottish Summit 2022 will require all attendees to have received both vaccines 5 days prior to attending the event as well as being able to show their countries issued ‘Vaccine Passport’ These will be reviewed when checking into the event and should not add additional delays.

When registration for tickets opens on the 1st of October there will be 2 questions asked as part of the process which is 1) Do you have a Vaccine Passport. 2) If not are you medically exempt. If you are medically exempt then you will be asked to provide in confidence your exemption proof no later than 7 days before the event so it can be reviewed by the volunteers.

This is something that we do, not only to abide by government guidelines but also to put the safety of all attendees first and foremost.

These are the guidelines as of the 1st of October and we are hoping that these restrictions will be removed by the time.
